Mystery of the disappearing boy

It was around 11:30pm on November 23. At 153 G, Rugville, between two condos there was a small cape cod cottage. It was owned by Mr. and Mrs. Kimmie and their sons Keithan and George.At that time a kidnapping took place.Keithan was kidnapped.Before that kidnapping,Mrs. Kimmie and her son Keithan were going to sleep. George had already slept after dinner. He had slept early the first time. Mr. Kimmie was busy on his computer. 

I had been called by Caroline to investigate the case.So, I left the office and went to the crime scene.

When I entered the house where the kidnapping took place, I saw there Mrs. Kimmie was crying, Mr. Kimmie was looking serious and upset, and I saw surprisingly that George was happy. I felt strange about that boy. So I asked Mr. Kimmie what had happened last night as he was working on his computer. Mr. Kimmie told whatever they were doing last night. I wanted more information. Mr. Kimmie said,’At 11:55pm sharp, I had closed my computer. I was going to sleep when I heard someone screaming. It was Keithan’s voice. When I went to his room, I saw that his door to his room was opened, and I saw Keithan had disappeared. George’s room was same. The door was opened and George had also disappeared. After that I don’t know what had happened.’

So I thought I should investigate the case so that I could get a clue for it.

 First I went to Keithan’s room, most important. When I entered the room, I was shocked to see the room. I shouted, ‘What a mess!’ There was no clue to be found. Only a knife with a name engraved on it.

Then I went to the bathroom. I got a little scared when I saw a broken mirror with a message in it, ‘Want to save Keithan, you will never find him’. This message was written by someone using a CD marker and I thought who had broken this mirror using a hammer. From behind when I was coming out, a running shadow went near me. I thought who was that. But before that I should investigate the case. So I went on.

After that I walked in the hall. George was not there. I again felt strange about that boy. So I asked Mr. Kimmie when did they find George and in which manner. He said, ‘We found him in the garage and in old, ragged clothes.’ I felt strange that how could he be in the garage as he disappeared. So, I went to check the garage. There was only a USB device and a music copy which can be a clue to him. Then, lastly I went to George’s room.

When I went in his room, I found a calendar, a time table, and a safe. In the safe, I had to write a famous person’s name which is the password of the safe. I wrote Steven Cole. It opened. There I found a key. Then I looked  above the calendar.There was written, 'On 23 November, Keithan to observatory 4.' I got it. He is in the observatory 4 near the toy barn of Wally. Then I saw the time table. It seemed to be strange because George never break his time table. I think he is the culprit. But I am not sure. So I should check the observatory.

8pm-9am	sleep

I took a taxi and went to observatory 4. When I was entering I saw the door was locked. So I thought how I would open it. So I thought of unlocking it through the key I got in the safe. It worked. When I got inside, I was surprised to see the game ‘dancing rebellion 4’. I wanted to play it but I didn’t have time to do it. And I was really  tired. So I sat on a bench and saw the music copy. There I saw a tutorial of dancing rebellion 4 game.

 

I tried to play it on the game. First it was a little tuff but after that it became easy. When I did it completely without any mistake, a door beside the game opened and from it came out a boy. He with a smile said, ‘I am Keithan and thank you for opening the door. I was locked here for hours.’ After listening this, I got super happy and shouted in excitement, ‘Hurray!’ because I had investigated the case.

It was now evening. I said to Sally in excitement, ‘I have investigated the case right away before evening.’ in my phone. She said, ‘That’s great. Now bring Keithan to his home. His family must be worried about him.’ I said, ‘That’s right.’

Then I took him home on a taxi. When I took him inside, everyone got happy and hugged and asked him, ‘Are you OK my boy.’ Then at last I asked Keithan a question, ‘Can you briefly tell me what happened last night?’ He told me, ‘when I was sleeping in my room, my brother George put me in a sack and took me to a room in that observatory. There he locked me and I was thirsting for water.’ And I also asked to George who was angry, ‘Why did he do this?’ He said, ‘Because after my brother’s birth, everyone loved and cared him and not me. So I kidnapped him. My plan was going successful but because of you my plan is no more a plan.’ After listening this his parents hugged them both with pure love.

And this was how I, the Vortex Point investigator investigated the kidnap case.
